SkyClan’s Destiny Flaws

SkyClan’s Destiny is the newest installment in Warriors, and really, it’s not a bad book. It’s not great, either, for these reasons…
- The daylight warriors.
- The part-kittypet names.
- The fact that the whole book doesn’t have much of a plot- it’s mostly about what happens next.
- THE RATS.
To start off with, the daylight warriors are breaking the warrior code. The fact that they act as warriors during daytime and kittypets at night isn’t really the greatest idea Erin Hunter has ever had. A cat can’t live with a paw in two worlds- we can see this clearly back in Rising Storm, when Cloudtail (then Cloudpaw) was captured by Twolegs after getting food from them.
Next off, the part kittypet names are AWFUL. For example, Snookpaw isn’t a real Warriors name. Neither is Billystorm, or Harveymoon. Frecklepaw isn’t exactly a Warriors name either. The only exception to the kittypet name game is Ebonyclaw, whose name actually seems like a real Warrior name.
The plot problem also needs to be addressed. There are subplots, but not much of a whole plot itself. That was mostly one of the dissappointing things in this book.
And finally, the rats. Cats kick rat butts. Not vice-versa. Rats can’t kill cats, I’m pretty sure. Heck, cats even EAT rats. Come on…

I just want to say (not that I agree with you, cause I do) that I found out that the daylight warriors kept their kittypet names as prefixes because they didn’t want completely new names.
